| Webpage Load time This webpage is for evaluating your PC's website page Load time. This page is small, has only HTML & a small amount of JavaScript code, and does not 'fetch' any content from another website. The page load time is measured and displayed in the rightmost column. Page load time depends on several factors: 1. Speed of your connection to the Interent, cable, DSL, etc. 2. Server response time to page enquiry (Busy or Idle). 3. What else your PC is doing while loading, (spyware, background program, hardware or program flaw.). 4. Your PC's CPU cycle period (usually not a factor). One of my PC's loads this page in about two thirds of a second and refreshes it in about a third of a second. The Speakeasy button over in the rightmost column will direct you to an Internet site for measuring your Internet connection speed. Some Speakeasy Test Results: BHO3 on cable: Down - 20,800 kbps (2,600 KB/sec), Up - 3,638 kbps (455 KB/sec) Microsoft's Windows Defender is free and used to detect spyware.
